Review: Little Frog, Amethyst
This wrap is my "beater," my all around workhorse. From dirty carpark tails to poopsplosions.
Purple has been my favourite colour since childhood & amethyst is my birth stone, so when looking at the Little Frog's it was a no brainer!
First of all, this wrap is on the lower scale of the budget, even so it is incredibly reliable & can take almost anything that you throw at it.
When my wrap arrived I was like a child on Christmas! I had to have a pre-wash play!
Out of the packaging it was soft and pliable, not smooshy or buttery, but didn't need too much breaking in & was suitable for a squish straight away. We started wearing it when my baby was about 5 weeks old.
After only a couple of washes & zero ironing, the little frog has broken in noticably.
It's perfect for a beginner but advanced mamas would still find it of use.
It's a very forgiving wrap & even the sloppiest of wrap jobs I found quite sturdy.
I bought the size 5 which is a base size & great for experimenting different wrapping styles.
It is a little long for a few of the back carries but my husband & I were mucking around & he carried me in it quite comfortably!
The Little Frog Amethyst was definitely my wrapping gateway drug.
I Intended to keep this as my legacy wrap, that was until I fell further down the rabbit hole & now my legacy wrap is still to be discovered!
This will eventually be turned into a child hammock instead!
